TractionWorks™ is the AntiSlip Works branded anti-slip surface treatment service. On suitable tile and mineral surfaces, the treatment is intended to create microscopic surface texture through a controlled surface interaction, helping improve traction when the floor becomes wet without adding a thick visible coating over the existing floor.

Not necessarily. On many suitable tiles, the surface can still feel quite normal when dry. The treatment objective is improved traction in wet-use conditions, so water and soapy-water behaviour is more relevant than how rough the floor feels when completely dry.

TractionWorks™ is positioned as a surface treatment rather than a thick film coating. It is intended to work at the floor surface instead of leaving a conventional visible layer over the tile. Suitability and the exact surface response still depend on the material and condition of the floor.

Yes, some change is possible. Depending on material, colour, finish and previous treatments, a floor may become slightly duller, lighter or show small colour variation. Dark, polished, decorative and sensitive finishes can make changes more noticeable. We discuss this before treatment and use a discreet patch test or spare tile where appropriate.

Where appropriate, yes. A small hidden test area or spare tile can help us check how a surface responds and whether there is a visible change before proceeding. If we have already treated a clearly comparable surface, the workflow may be adjusted, but we still review suitability before full application.

Potentially, yes. We first need to understand the tile material and whether any sealer, coating, polish or post-renovation chemical has already been applied. Please tell us if the floor is new or has received any previous surface treatment.

Some mineral surfaces may be treatable, but polished and decorative stone needs additional caution because visual changes can be more noticeable. We assess these surfaces case by case and may recommend not proceeding where appearance risk is too high.

Our typical residential workflow is: inspect the treatment area, clean and prepare the floor, patch test where appropriate, apply TractionWorks™ through a controlled work sequence, rinse and neutralise the surface, dry the area, then verify and hand over with after-care guidance.

Where practical, yes. At handover we can review the treated floor with you and use a wet-floor or soapy-water demonstration so you can feel the difference for yourself. This is a practical customer demonstration and should not be presented as a laboratory slip-resistance certification.

Most residential bathroom treatments are completed in approximately 60–120 minutes. The actual time depends on floor area, cleaning and preparation needs, tile response, patch testing and the final rinse and dry-down.

Common areas include bathrooms, toilet floors, shower zones, kitchens, balconies, utility areas, private-home poolside zones and other suitable tiled wet areas. Suitability depends on the actual material, finish, condition and any previous coating or treatment.

Soap scum, grease, wax, sealers and cleaning residue can prevent the treatment from interacting consistently with the actual tile surface. Preparation is therefore part of the treatment, not an optional extra.

Regular cleaning still matters because soap, oil, wax, polish and cleaner residue can reduce usable traction. We provide practical after-care guidance and recommend avoiding products that leave a heavy film or coating unless their compatibility is known.

Send a wide photo of the floor, one or two close-ups of the tile surface, your property or site type, the treatment area, approximate floor size if known, and a short note on when the floor feels most slippery. For commercial sites, include the main contaminants and operating or access window where possible.

No. No floor can be made completely slip-proof in every condition. Water, soap, oil, cleaning residue, footwear, drainage and user behaviour still affect slip risk. TractionWorks™ is intended to improve traction on suitable surfaces, not eliminate every possibility of a slip or fall.

Service life varies with floor material, traffic, cleaning method, contamination and how the area is used. Treatment may remain effective beyond one year on suitable surfaces, but actual field performance varies. AntiSlip Works currently backs eligible residential treatments with our 3-Month Traction Assurance.

If you notice a meaningful reduction in wet-floor grip in a treated residential area under normal use during the first three months, contact AntiSlip Works. We will assess the area and provide rectification where the issue falls within the assurance coverage. The assurance does not cover physical damage, tile replacement or renovation, abnormal wear, treatment or coatings applied by others, harsh or unsuitable chemicals, areas not treated by AntiSlip Works, or changes caused by the underlying tile or substrate rather than the treatment. Ongoing cleaning and reasonable after-care are also required.

Yes. Commercial work can include kitchens, F&B and central-kitchen areas, poolside zones, washrooms, condo or facility wet areas and other suitable high-use surfaces. We review the floor material, contamination, cleaning, traffic, access and treatment area before finalising a scope.

Yes, that is one of the important commercial use cases we assess for kitchens and food preparation spaces. Oil, grease, detergent and repeated wash-down can make a floor behave very differently from a residential bathroom, so we look at the contaminants, cleaning method and operating conditions before recommending a treatment scope.

Our current indicative commercial treatment range is from $3.00–$5.50 per square foot, subject to minimum project charge and site conditions. Final quotation depends on floor type, contamination, preparation requirements, total area, access and operating conditions.
