Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of antislipworks.sg. Service-specific pricing, scope, payment, scheduling, assurance or warranty terms (if any) and project conditions may also be stated in our quotation, invoice or written service agreement. Where there is a conflict, the project-specific written terms will apply to that service.

1. Website information

Website content is provided for general information and may be updated as our services, treatment products, equipment and testing programme develop. Information on this website is not a guarantee that a particular floor is suitable for treatment.

2. Quotations and site information

Quotations may be based on photographs, measurements and information provided by the customer. We may revise or decline a scope if an on-site inspection reveals a different surface, condition, coating, contamination, access issue or area from what was originally described.

3. Surface suitability and patch testing

Floor materials and finishes respond differently. Where practical, we may carry out a patch test or sample area before full treatment. A satisfactory patch test reduces uncertainty but cannot guarantee that every tile or section will react identically, especially where materials, wear, stains or previous treatments vary across the floor.

4. Possible appearance changes

Anti-slip treatment may change the appearance or feel of some surfaces. Possible effects include slight dulling, lightening, colour variation, reduced gloss or a different tactile feel. These effects may be more visible on dark, polished, decorative or sensitive surfaces. By approving treatment after disclosure or a test area, the customer acknowledges that some visual change may be an inherent treatment risk.

5. No completely slip-proof floor

Our service is intended to improve traction on suitable surfaces. We do not represent that any treated floor will be completely slip-proof or eliminate all risk of slips or falls. Water, soap, oils, cleaning chemicals, footwear, drainage, housekeeping, wear and user behaviour can continue to affect traction.

6. Cleaning and maintenance

Performance may be affected by dirt, soap, grease, wax, polish, sealers or cleaning residue. Customers are responsible for ongoing cleaning and maintenance after handover and should follow any care guidance provided. We should be informed before treatment if a floor has been sealed, coated, polished or chemically treated previously.

7. Access and site readiness

The customer should provide safe and reasonable access to the work area and disclose known hazards, sensitive adjacent materials and site restrictions. Commercial customers should also advise us of operating hours, permit requirements and access windows before scheduling.

8. 3-Month Traction Assurance

Where a residential quotation states that the 3-Month Traction Assurance applies, a customer may contact AntiSlip Works if there is a meaningful reduction in wet-floor grip in the treated area under normal residential use during the first three months after treatment. AntiSlip Works will assess the reported issue and, where it falls within the assurance coverage, may provide reasonable rectification. The assurance does not cover physical damage, tile replacement or renovation, abnormal wear, harsh or unsuitable chemicals, subsequent coatings or treatments applied by others, areas not treated by AntiSlip Works, failure to follow reasonable care guidance, or changes caused by the underlying tile or substrate rather than the treatment.

9. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the AntiSlip Works name, TractionWorks™ name, website text, graphics, process descriptions and original content are owned by or licensed to AntiSlip Works and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Use of a ™ symbol identifies branding used by us and should not be read as a representation that a mark is registered.

10. Third-party links

Links to services such as WhatsApp are provided for convenience. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

11. Limitation

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AntiSlip Works is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of this website. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes relating to these website terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
